We are seeking an individual with a strong character who is naturally proactive, driven by tenacity, and possesses a collaborative approach towards both customers and colleagues. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, adept at building rapport over the phone and in person and forming genuine relationships. Resilience and a positive outlook are essential, as the role involves handling a variety of challenges with a solutions-focused mindset.

Our primary objective is to enhance our presence in the housebuilder sector by increasing awareness of our brand and the value we bring to residential developments. We aim to engage architects early in the process to ensure our unique products are specified. Each enquiry is met with a tailored and cost-effective solution to meet the specific needs of our clients.

The Role:

  • Establish and develop relationships with the company’s existing and potential clients to grow market share.
  • Consistently approach regional offices of housebuilders and developers through calls and outreach to ensure we are on their approved supplier lists and informed of play requirements for all upcoming developments.
  • Collaborate with landscape architects, emphasising the play value and material advantages of our UK-manufactured play equipment to encourage specification in future development plans.
  • Proactively follow up on quotations and customer enquiries, guiding them through the sales cycle with the ultimate aim of conversion to order.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline to continually grow the order intake.
  • Build and manage relationships with clients, accurately recording the history onto the company’s CRM system.
  • Stay informed about competitors’ activities, pricing, and products to ensure we remain competitive.
  • Collaborate with the estimators/designers, sales, and contracting departments to create competitive quotes and designs.
  • Assist in marketing programs as directed, with a view to obtaining new sales leads.

Preferred Skillset:

  • Proven success in B2B sales, with expertise in managing the sales cycle.
  • Experience in specification sales, particularly with architects and landscape architects.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry.
  • Ability to build rapport with customers, instilling trust and confidence in a short space of time.
  • Confidence and professionalism in telephone, Teams and in-person meetings with clients.
  • Knowledge of the play industry would be advantageous.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary + commission structure
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Ongoing training and development
