The Role
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented administrator to join our team at HAGS, which specialise in the manufacture and supply of products and services within the playground industry. The Small Works Administrator will play a key role in the systemic entry of all sales orders, purchase orders & invoices relating to small works, working closely with the Resource Manager & logistic teams to ensure product is on time in full to enable accurate scheduling and completion of works in a timely manner, as well as supporting our in-field engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales order entry, verifying works to be completed
  • Purchase ordering relevant materials for the works to be carried out
  • Invoicing of projects upon practical completion as identified by the Resource Manager
  • Suggesting and implementing improvements that will make the department more efficient and productive

In addition to the duties and responsibilities outlined you may be required to perform other duties assigned and requested by the Small Works Operations Manager

Skills and Qualifications

  • Administration experience essential
  • Relevant software competence (Word/Excel/CRM)
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Financial Awareness
  • Must have a flexible approach to working
  • Ability to manage own time and prioritise workload
  • Relationship building skills – in particular to be a self-starter willing to take the initiative when necessary and excellent ability to work well within a team structure, and support and guide team members as required
  • Ability to work on own initiative to a high level of accuracy and to meet deadlines
  • Customer Care – Capable of delivering results and meeting customer expectations
  • Ability to generate, develop and present ideas and suggestions for improvements in order to achieve more effective working practises
