Unable to use their old climbing frame due to Health and Safety concerns, King’s Lodge Primary School wanted a play area which was fun and physically challenging.
Friars Primary Foundation School, in Southwark, wanted to transform their concrete outdoor space into something that would engage children in outdoor learning, active play and having lots and lots of fun.
Micklem Primary School wanted a playground that could provide more choice for their pupils to play on each week. Liz Ormonde, Micklem’s headteacher, tells us that by listening to the children’s ideas, Playforce created the playground to be exactly how the children wanted it.
Space at Annfield Plain Infant School wasn’t the issue in this playground, it was the angle. Annfield Plain’s outdoor space is built on a slope and whenever the British weather made an appearance it would become muddy and unusable.
