Proludic is celebrating an extraordinary 2025 – defined by innovation, sustainability, and delivering inspirational play and sports spaces that have enriched communities across the UK. We’ve released major product launches, made milestone environmental achievements, and completed some of our most ambitious site deliveries to date. This has been a year where imagination and purposeful design truly came to life.
We began by unveiling over 55 new products in our latest Play & Sports Catalogue, reflecting more than 37 years of expertise in creative and inclusive outdoor design. We also launched our Sustainable Natural Wood Brochure. The brochure celebrates beautifully crafted wooden Robinia designs that blend seamlessly with the landscape and champion long-term environmental responsibility.
2025 Play and Sports Projects
Across the country, Proludic delivered some of the most exciting new play and sports areas of the year. We partnered on a landmark £1.25 million programme to create 10 new play areas for families across East Devon – a transformational investment including dynamic, high-quality installations at Exmouth, Ottery Saint Mary and Honiton. These vibrant new destinations showcase themed surfacing, imaginative structures and inclusive equipment. We’re proud to say they have quickly become cherished community assets.
Further afield, we breathed new life into play spaces from Weston-Super-Mare’s spectacular Water Adventure Park to the magical new inclusive playground at Bourdillon Field in Goring-on-Thames and the futuristic Metropolis-themed adventure zone at James Seely Park, Nottinghamshire. Tardy Gate, Windermere Close and Page Close also showcased our ability to create inclusive, layered play experiences tailored to local stories and landscapes. We’ve been installing inspirational play in Scotland, too, at Kinneil Estate Play Area, Westfield Common, Bell Crescent, and more. Each project delivered on adventure, accessibility, and aesthetic quality – strengthening our reputation for imaginative, community-focused design.
In the housing sector, we’ve proudly executed visually harmonious play across sites such as Calders Play Area, and Springstead Village. We designed beautiful bespoke wooden towers to complement and blend in with the natural landscape at Hugglescote Grange, and we’re proud to have brought inclusive, accessible, and imaginative play to many residential developments across the country.
Expertise and Sustainability
We continued to share our expertise through our biggest regional seminar programme to date. Proludic delivered four seminars across Weston-Super-Mare, Porthcawl, London and Hemel Hempstead. These seminars brought clients, partners and industry leaders together to explore the future of inclusive, sustainable and bespoke play. Inspirational guest speakers and live project tours gave attendees a unique insight into the design process behind some of our flagship sites.
Sustainability remained central to our mission. A standout achievement this year was the installation of solar PV panels on the roof of a primary production at our world class manufacturing facility in Vouvray. These solar panels enable 50% of the workshop’s electricity to be met through clean, renewable energy. This major step reinforces Proludic’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions and embracing more environmentally responsible manufacturing practices. We also introduced our Inclusive Diagnostic Tool – a pioneering resource designed to help clients understand, evaluate and improve the accessibility of their play spaces. This user-friendly tool supports councils, designers and communities in ensuring every child can enjoy barrier-free play opportunities.
“2025 has been a landmark year for Proludic, where imagination, inclusion and sustainability came together to create inspiring play and sports spaces that are already making a lasting, positive impact on communities across the UK,” – Rob Baker, MD
As Proludic looks ahead, 2025 stands as a year of meaningful progress and powerful collaborations. From the products we launched to the places we transformed, our focus has remained constant: creating playful, inclusive and sustainable environments where communities can connect, thrive, and imagine.
