An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regional Sales Manager for the South within an exciting, established and progressive company. The main function of the role is predominantly to lead and inspire a team of Area Sales Managers to sell the Company’s innovative playground product range to a wide variety of market sectors including Public Sector, house developers. leisure and schools advising the best solution for their requirements.

Responsibilities include

  • To deliver regional sales human resource objectives by recruiting, coaching and developing the southern sales team
  • Measuring performance through sales targets and KPI’s
  • Communicating vision, providing feedback and goal setting
  • Carrying out regular performance reviews
  • Contributing to strategic plans and leadership meetings
  • Devising and implementing quality customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits
  • Improving processes to increase effectiveness and efficiency
  • Ensuring overall sales and profitability targets are achieved

The profile

The ideal candidate will be a confident and engaged sales leader, who is inspirational, motivational and strategic. An individual who possesses an exemplary and proven track record within a senior sales leader position, with knowledge and experience in selling to the Public Sector and contributing to the writing of tenders.

  • Exceptional Sales professional who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves
  • Minimum of 3 Years Sales Management in a project/solution led environment
  • Experience in playground/recreation industry
  • Selling to Local Authority customers with proven track record of success
  • Commercially adept in data analysis and fact-based decision making
  • Proven ability to simplify what seems complex into a few relevant insights and actionable next steps
  • Polished and persuasive presentation skills with both internal and external audiences
  • Highly organised to facilitate multi-tasking and prioritisation
  • Experienced user and advocate for CRM based Client Management systems
