As our business continues to grow, we are looking for another Contracts Manager to join our Operations Team working closely with our Project Managers and Coordinators to deliver Projects throughout the United Kingdom.

The role involves working throughout the country carrying out Pre-Start meeting with Customers, liaising with our Sales Team and surveying and marking out sites as needed, monitoring of teams and projects, and finally signing off projects. As the “face” of Creative Play, you will Presentable and with a positive attitude and ability to face and solve with problems “head on”. You will be responsible for delivering installations on time and to budget, ensuring compliance with our quality standards as well as BSEN 1176 and 1177. You will also be required to stay away up to four nights per week.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Reporting directly to Head of Operations
  • Project implementation with Overall responsibility for Installation and sign off on Projects throughout the United Kingdom.
  • Meeting and Liaising with customers, As
  • Inspecting and passing the quality of installs in line with the Play area and surface standards (BSEN 1176 and 1177)
  • Resolve any quality concerns from clients
  • Liaise with and Manage Sub-Contractors and our Installation Teams while coordinating directly with our operations team.
  • Updating on Project Progress and dealing with site issues as the
  • Producing RAMS, schedules of work and material/plant/equipment lists for site, in conjunction with our Operations Coordinator as needed.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic individual who operates well on their own as well as being an integral part of a team. You will need to have the following skills, qualities and experience:

  • Confident communication and problem resolution
  • Experience managing sites and teams
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Groundworks & landscaping experience
  • Attention to detail & accuracy
  • Ability to provide strong levels of customer service
  • Ability to prioritise workload with strong organisational skills
  • Ability to multitask

The following experience would also be desirable:

  • Experience Installing/Maintaining Children’s outdoor play equipment
  • Experience in laying artificial grass
  • Experience in laying wet pour/ rubber mulch
  • Good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft O365 suite
