As a result of continued growth Playtime by Fawns are looking to recruit an additional contracts supervisor to oversee installations, predominantly into Education settings, in the Midlands and North of England (Yorkshire/Lancashire).

Established for over 30 years, and part of Wicksteed Leisure, we pride ourselves on a high level of customer service with an emphasis on attaining complete customer satisfaction – 70% of our revenue is from returning customers.

Contracts Supervisors will take the lead, supported by an experienced and dedicated backroom team, for ensuring projects are a success and meet customer expectations. Successful candidates should possess good communication skills, both verbal and written, building confidence with the customer from the outset. In addition a background in construction would be useful, with good decision making skills and the ability to work as a team but often remotely from the office.

Role Overview:

  • Carry out pre-works meetings with customers
  • Communicate effectively any design changes or potential issues
  • Monitor installation teams (both internal and sub-contracted) during installation
  • Communicate progress both to customer and back to support team
  • Resolve any post-works issues with direction and support from management team
  • Travelling will be required, including to meetings at HQ in Hampshire with occasional overnight stays

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Excellent communication skills with a positive, customer focused attitude
  • Construction related experience, preferable in a supervisory capacity
  • Ability to manage ones time effectively and work with minimum supervision
  • Computer literate – Basic Microsoft Packages Word/Excel/Outlook

Relevant Qualifications (Though Training would be given to right candidate)

  • SMSTS or SSSTS – Site Managers Safety Training Scheme or Site Supervisor level
  • CSCS Card
  • Any NVQ Construction and Site Management Training
  • Any RPII Training
  • Clean Driving Licence
  • Knowledge of play industry would be an advantage

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
