Now youngsters from across Ware have put their hard hats on to help with the construction of their own play area.    In a series of open days youngsters have been busy putting the finishing touches to their new playground by hanging swing seats, laying grass, planting and building willow structures.

Viv Jebson, Managing Director at Sutcliffe Play,

“To be selected by the young people who will ultimately use the adventure playground is a great privilege and we are now very excited to be working with the youngsters on the build of their adventure playground.  They are filled with great ideas and enthusiasm for the project and we’re now all looking forward to the opening in just a few weeks time.”

The development is part of East Herts Council’s Big Lottery funded ‘Playing on the Wildside’ project which seeks to increase play opportunities for children and teenagers across the district and provide exciting new play areas.
