All outdoor activity is good for us and keeps us fit and
healthy. The British Heart Foundation recommends we are moderately
active for at least 30 minutes five days a week. This can be
through anything from cycling and walking, to gardening and
vacuuming. To get your children interested, take them to the park
to play football or go in the playground. The event was supported by
Selby based playground company, Record RSS who now have a new
product range called The Outdoor Fitness Range – a set of 11
different stations to form an outdoor gym in public
areas.
The team of six including the Managing Director Chris Lodge managed
to raise a total of £274 of sponsorship from colleagues,
friends and family, and are proud to have taken part.
Douglas Belfield, Sales Director says “As a playground
company we know that outdoor play is not only fun for the children,
but is also really good for them. We want to help keep hearts
healthy, and are willing to raise money for this great charity in
order to spread the word that exercise is good for our
hearts.”
