Proludic work with key industry professionals on their recent Educational Study Tour
This autumn, UK play manufacture, Proludic have been touring the country with their popular Educational Study Tours.
These specialist seminars were aimed at addressing key areas of change that will influence play provision for the future.
The seminars were created for those involved in play procurement, to meet the need for knowledge and understanding of the new government's investment in play. Each session included 6 educational presentations, centered around topical issues and keynote industry documents relating to the Fair Play agenda.
The seminars were attended by over 150 delegates and included a site visit where delegates and keynote speakers had the opportunity to ask questions and debate over how best to meet the expectations for the future of play.

Keynote speaker Aileen Shackell (lead author of the Design for Play guide) made comment on the recently opened Destination Park in Market Harborough: "The play space at Welland Park is a good example of a layout in which the equipment and landscape setting have been designed together. This greatly extends the play value of the scheme.”
Alison Moore-Gwyn, Chief Executive and Don Earley, Deputy Chief Executive of FIT, took the delegates through the revised changes to the 6 Acre Standard document; now know as Design & Planning for Outdoor Play.
Alison comments: “The play industry is consistently innovative and once again the Proludic Seminars represented a great chance to connect with the people who are driving this innovation and ensuring that the industry is operating according to the current legislative agenda.”
Other keynote speakers included Roger Davis, RoSPA play inspector who spoke about the necessity for risk in play.
Feedback from those who attended was overwhelmingly positive,
