Happy 20th Birthday Proludic!
The Proludic group celebrated their 20th anniversary this month in style. All subsidiaries and partners were invited to the two day long celebrations. In total 450 Proludic employees from across the globe attended, demonstrating how much the company has grown since its introduction into the play industry.
Proludic was founded by Denis Le Poupon in 1988. He started the company by initially building playground equipment from his garden shed. From those early days Proludic has grown to be the market leader in France and one of the top playground manufacturers in the UK. It now has a commercial presence in over 30 countries worldwide. During this time Proludic have created its own unique style in the market place.
The Proludic equipment is known for being dynamic, challenging and above all innovative. This presence in the play industry is cemented through affiliations with FEPI (Federation of the European Play Industry) and the API (Association of Play Industries).
The celebrations were held at a local Chateau near the Proludic head office in Vouvray, France. It included activities such as pony trekking, hot air balloon rides, medieval themed games and live entertainment. The day culminated in a three course dinner with disco and fireworks display.
All Proludic staff were invited to attach a leaf (with their name engraved) onto a specially designed tree. The tree symbolises the growing Proludic family that all play a part in its success story. A great time was had by all that attended.
