Playground classic evolves
Playworld Systems has just brought out an electronic version of a playground classic that is certain to get children’s imagination soaring.
The new Spring Riders with Sound range takes the popular spring rider concept to the next level, sensing movement and responding with appropriate noises and music based on their character.
For example, climb aboard the jet and hear the engines roar and the controller announces take-off as the space flight music begins and the coil springs back and forth for an exhilarating but safe journey.
There is a choice of five designs in the transport range – boat, car, plane, train and truck; and four in the animal range – cow, horse, bee and ladybug.
The height and footholds on the riders are lower to specifically accommodate young children from 2-5 years old. They are also designed with rotomoulded plastic, which is a softer and friendlier material for toddlers.
