Playquip completes Framework Play Area in Chelmsford
Following extensive public consultation Playquip Leisure was
chosen to refurbish a new play area at Melbourne Park, Chelmsford
as part of an ongoing Framework Agreement with the authority.
The £85,000 project consisted of a giant multi-play unit,
a triple set of swings and safety surfacing.
The Xcell Multi play unit from our brand new range of products
is a challenging piece of equipment incorporating 4 large pedestal
towers, dynamic moving features such as the
“windsurfer” and spiral climber
The unit also features a double width and single width slide,
easy access steps and overhead climbing bars. The swings have
anti-wrap bearings and built in safety guards.
All the equipment is painted in a high quality powdercoated
finish and carries an extensive guarantee. The play area was
surfaced using a high quality rubber grass tile.

The scheme is part of Chelmsford’s ongoing framework
agreement to upgrade a number of their play areas over the next few
