Play like never before!
The country’s leading designer of outdoor play equipment for schools has just launched an exciting new range of Sand & Water play items, created to bring ‘hands on’ learning (and, of course, plenty of fun!) to school playgrounds.
Building on the overwhelming success of the Playforce Musical Range, launched in September 2008, the new Sand & Water Range has been designed with Education in mind.
Featuring 10 items, the range works equally well for Early Years and Primary School playgrounds, complementing the six Learning Goals of the Early Years Foundation Stage, and key elements of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum, such as Science, Mathematics and Geography, as well as encouraging social play, creativity and team work.

The Playforce modular design means that the new range can be integrated into existing Playforce playground Zones, allowing schools to create or enhance their Creative Zone; and with the range offering everything from a simple lockable Sandbox to the all encompassing Sand & Water Mixing Station, (which is large enough to accommodate a small class all at once) children can experience a whole new dimension to outdoor play.
Sand and water play is an integral element of childrens development and has been proven to not only help with cognitive development but also promotes physical development and fine motor development.
To further support schools in learning outside the classroom, Playforce are developing a range of Activity Sheets, to maximise the learning opportunities offered by Sand & Water.
