Playfair 2010 - build up starts
The build up for this years Playfair event is well underway! The exhibition is is unique, the only outdoor event totally dedicated to the play industry. At Playfair visitors see and network with all the major children's play companies at one venue.
This years event will feature, 'Playful Places' our play area design and built by API member companies illustrating best practice in play are design, layout and equipment selection.
Having only five days to build from a blank area in Stoneleigh Park work has started in ernest.....this is currently how it looks on day two!
Following recent Government announcements in particular the removal of the ring fenced surrounding the remaining capital funding visiting Playfair is a perfect opportunity to discuss with colleagues, the industry and other play related bodies the future of 'play', how recent announcements will impact on play provision and sustaining the momentum of the recent investment into play which has impacted on approximately 15% of playgrounds in the UK.
