Watford Community Housing Trust revamps five play facilities
Local children were involved in every aspect of the project. They submitted drawings of what they would like from their playground, they helped select equipment and even swapped the classroom for a day on site as they helped draw out one of their new community playgrounds.

RPII achieves Awarding Body recognition by Ofqual

What will happen to playgrounds?
Today is the official end of the previous Government’s Playbuilder/Pathfinder project to overhaul the UK’s many ageing, dilapidated children’s playgrounds. The last few years have seen a welcome injection of £235m worth of funding for Councils to improve local play facilities particularly in socially deprived areas.

API confirm Sally Gunnell OBE as keynote speaker for Playfair 2011
One of the UK’s greatest athletes, Sally Gunnell OBE is to give a speech about the benefits of play at the API’s Playfair 2011 trade show on 21 June 2011 at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire. The FSPA’s leading play association; the Association of Play Industries (API) is delighted to confirm Sally as their guest speaker for the show; now in its third year as the recognised UK national event for all those involved in the selection, purchase, upkeep and replacement of children’s play equipment.
