Play & Leisure Launches a New, Free Funding search Tool
There is increasing emphasis on the need for play and sports facilities to provide healthy exercise for the UK's kids, but with cuts in government spending there is a shortfall in the amount of development seen in local play facilities across the nation. Play & Leisure Ltd, in association with GRANTfinder, have introduced their new free online funding tool, to assist community groups and public sector organisations with searching for funding to help realise their play schemes.
GrantNET is a tool which allows groups, including schools, nurseries and town/parish council, to search through funding opportunities and start the application process, ultimately improving and developing children's play areas.
By clicking on the 'Help with Funding' link accessed via Play & Leisure's website, users can register for free and filter their search to ensure the grants discovered are relevant to them.
