Earl Stoneham gets a brand new ballcourt
Playquip Leisure has completed installation of major new sports
facility for Earl Stonham Junior Social Club at Earl Stonham in
Suffolk.
Earl Stonham Junior Social Club was granted funding by Mid
Suffolk District Council and waste recycling company BIFFA through
their Landfill Communities Fund.
This grant application was the only successful one of its type
in the financial year it was awarded and totalled
£50,000.
Playquip Leisure, an Essex based manufacturer and installer of
playground and sports equipment was chosen to complete the entire
contract from manufacture right through to installation, including
all groundwork’s and sports surfacing.
Playquip Leisure is no stranger to Earl Stonham as we installed
their under-8s play area back in 2004.
Our Multi-Courts are manufactured from steel for durability and
flexibility of design, and our unique modular design incorporates
fully encapsulated vandal resistant fixings.
Once on site the work was completed from scratch in about 4
weeks.
Mid Suffolk District Council are using the Earl Stonham site as
one of their flagship sites and they are so pleased the finished
product that they are having an official opening ceremony later
this year.
