Association of Play Industries holds meeting at the House of Commons

The API held a breakfast meeting at the House of Commons on the 25th February.
Hosted by Janet Dean MP the primary aim of the meeting was to stimulate debate on how we can ensure the sustainability of investment in play.

Invited guests discussed key areas surrounding the benefits of play which included, the play strategy and peoples thoughts on how it had impacted on play provision and also questioned had it delivered what people thought it would to date? Thoughts on how the current investment into play could be maintained. The importance of a cohesive approach from the sector to promote the benefits of play and how cross-departmentally play can assist in the health agenda, obesity strategy.
