API Membership for Notts Sport
Sport and play sector company Notts Sport has gained membership
of the Association of Play Industries (API), the main UK trade body
within the play sector.
The company is a principal specialist in the design and supply
of synthetic surfacing systems and produces its range of popular
'ChildsPlay' solutions for the UK, European and world markets.
As one of only 60 API members, the company underwent a rigorous
selection process to ensure it complies with the organisation's
criteria.
These included proving that all its products and services
conform to the appropriate British or European Standards,
submitting company accounts, and being nominated by two existing
API members.
Commenting, Notts Sport Chief Executive, Shaun Patrick said:
"Over our 23-year history we have supplied thousands of systems for
UK play installations, in addition to exporting play surfacing to
22 countries worldwide, including the USA and Japan.
"API membership will help us to take forward our interests
within the industry, including the continued development of our
close liaison with the governing bodies of play, nationally and
internationally."
Earlier in the year, Notts Sport also became a member of the
Federation of the European Play Industry (FEPI) through which the
company helps to shape European policies and standards on
children's play safety"
