Two Playground Companies Merge

With the lottery funding taking a hold on the Play industry, it is important for buyers to know they are dealing with a reputable and financially secure company

Record Playground Equipment have announced that effective from 1 January 2007, have merged with RSS Playmakers to create Record RSS. This makes them the 4th largest outdoor play company in the UK.

Record Playground Equipment have been trading and growing for almost 40 years and have built up a strong reputation for the quality and durability of their steel products. They are now however seizing the opportunity to become known as a designer, manufacturer and installer of exiting and innovative products too.

RSS (Recreational Supply Services) is well known in the south of the UK with a excellent reputation for delivery and installation, as well as product innovation.

Chris Lodge Managing Director of the newly formed Record RSS says “We just want to provide a better service for our customers as well as offering them a wider choice of innovative products.”

Because of the merge, Record RSS now has premises in Selby, North Yorkshire and Staines, Middlesex, giving them excellent national coverage. Employees in both locations however maintain that they are they are still committed to all their customers as they were before, and are not going anywhere.

“We want to assure our current customers that we are still the same people based in the same locations, and that this merge will offer nothing but positives for them.”
